Decyl glucoside is a cleanser for water-based beard washes. It helps water lift away oil and dirt and is usually blended with other cleansers so the complete wash determines how gentle and stable it feels.
Do not add it to beard oil, balm, or butter. Follow the supplier's amount and mixing directions, check the finished wash's pH (acidity level) and thickness, use a suitable preservative, and test a small batch for foam and after-rinse feel.
